Profile:
Jim has over 30 years experience in real estate finance in the Charlotte market. He began his career with Wachovia in Raleigh, N.C. and later joined Stockton and White Company as manager of their Charlotte residential loan production office. In 1987, Jim moved to First Charlotte Bank as president of First Charlotte Mortgage where he oversaw the origination of residential mortgages and interim lending. After First Charlotte Bank merged with Centura Bank, Jim joined Park Meridian Bank. In November of 2001, Park Meridian was acquired by Regions Bank where Jim served as executive vice president specializing in residential interim lending. His book of business grew to over $300MM before he left in April of 2006 to participate in the capital raise for Park Sterling Bank.
