Profile:
Barbara has 23 years of experience in the banking industry. She began her career with NCNB National Bank of North Carolina (predecessor to Bank of America) in High Point, NC, later transferring to NCNB’s Charlotte, NC, office where she served as market associate in the Private Banking Group. In July 1991, she joined Park Meridian Bank as manager of loan administration and was later promoted to assistant vice president and then to vice president. Additionally, she served as a commercial/consumer lender. After the acquisition of Park Meridian Bank by Regions Bank in November 2001, she continued in her lending position and was promoted to senior vice president in December 2005. She joined Park Sterling Bank in August 2006.
