Profile:
John began his banking career in June 1981 as a management trainee with Southern National Bank in Lumberton, NC. While at Southern National, John worked as a collections manager, branch manager and commercial lender in the Raleigh and Fayetteville markets. After an 11 year career with Southern National, John joined First Citizens Bank and spent 11 years as an area executive in the Kinston market and the Wilmington market. In 2003, he joined Regions Bank and opened a de novo office in Wilmington and served as the market president until May 2007 when he joined Park Sterling Bank.
