Profile:
Alex has 25 years experience in the banking industry. He began his career in 1982 with Wachovia, holding positions in Jacksonville and Greenville, NC that included sales finance, retail banking, branch management and private & business banking. In 2000, Alex transferred to Wilmington, NC as senior vice president to head up the business banking unit. In 2003, he joined Regions Bank as senior vice president and commercial loan officer, serving in that capacity until joining Park Sterling Bank in May 2007.
